3D Insights: Visualizing Biomolecules for Research – Hands-On Training with VMD
Our first in-person workshop was successfully held on June 5, 2025, with over 20 participants in attendance.
Supported by an NSF CAREER grant, we are developing and delivering a series of workshops designed to equip undergraduate students with computational skills and knowledge aligned with the evolving needs of scientific research and industry.
This initiative is part of the Cultivating Computational Excellence in Mississippi (CCEM) program, which features hands-on workshops, summer research experiences, cohort-based learning, and a graduate studies advancement track. This training program is specifically designed for nurturing young talents from Mississippi in computational chemistry and biology.
